By booking a service or membership, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These guidelines keep everything simple, fair, and transparent so every experience runs smoothly from start to finish.

1. Services

The Honeydew Edit provides concierge, household organization, seasonal preparation, lifestyle support, and event-related services as outlined on the website.
Each booking includes the time, scope, and rate confirmed at the time of scheduling.
Services are customized to each client’s needs and may vary based on duration, complexity, or available resources.

2. Appointments & Scheduling

Appointments are confirmed once the required deposit and booking details are received.
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule an appointment.
Services are typically booked in 3-hour or longer blocks, unless otherwise noted.
Start and end times may adjust slightly to accommodate travel or logistics.

3. Payments & Deposits

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all standard bookings.
Remaining balances are due upon completion of service unless otherwise arranged.
All pricing is in Canadian dollars (CAD) and may change without notice.

4. Cancellations

Cancellations with 48 hours’ notice may be rescheduled without penalty.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will forfeit the 50% deposit.
Same-day cancellations or no-shows are non-refundable.
The Honeydew Edit may cancel or reschedule services due to illness, emergency, or unsafe conditions. In these cases, deposits may be refunded or transferred to a new date.

5. Access & Client Responsibility

Clients must provide safe, accessible, and appropriate working conditions during visits.
The Honeydew Edit cannot move heavy furniture, perform hazardous tasks, or use unsafe equipment.
Please inform us in advance of pets, allergies, special conditions, or restricted areas in the home.

6. Supplies & Materials

Clients may provide their own supplies (e.g., bins, décor, wrapping materials).
If The Honeydew Edit sources materials, costs will be added to the invoice with prior approval.

7. Satisfaction Guarantee

Every service is delivered with care and attention to detail.
If something does not meet expectations, please reach out within 48 hours and every effort will be made to resolve it promptly.

8. Privacy & Confidentiality

All client information, household details, and project photos remain strictly confidential.
Images will only be used publicly with written consent.

9. Photography & Promotion

The Honeydew Edit may request permission to photograph completed spaces for portfolio or promotional use.
Consent is always optional and never assumed.

10. Liability

While care is taken with all belongings, The Honeydew Edit is not liable for:

pre-existing damage
natural wear and tear
fragile items not disclosed
issues caused by client-provided supplies or materials

Clients are responsible for identifying fragile or high-value items and securing valuables.

11. Packages & Gift Cards

Hourly packages and gift cards must be used within 6 months of purchase.
Packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Appointments may be rescheduled with sufficient notice.

12. Membership: The Flexible 12

The Flexible 12 is a monthly concierge membership designed for ongoing, flexible support.

Membership Includes:

12 hours per month, used as needed across any household or lifestyle service category.
A complimentary planning session at the start of each month* to review priorities, create a personalized checklist, and schedule visits.
Your membership month begins on the date of your first planning session.
Hours may be split into multiple visits.
Priority scheduling and a quick mid-month check-in.
Up to 2 unused hours may roll over for 30 days.
Billed monthly with a 2-month minimum (cancel anytime with 14 days’ notice).
Perfect for busy families and professionals who want steady, flexible support for home, errands, or events.
This planning session is complimentary and does not count toward your monthly service hours.
